The Cooper's workshop

The Cooper's workshop

Visit the old cooper’s workshop in its original building where it was fully operational until the 1940s. This is where the barrels, used to transport blubber and cod liver from Greenland to Denmark and salt, sugar, flour and butter, etc. from Denmark to Greenland, were repaired. Enjoy the chance to examine a cooper’s tools up close and get an impression of how it was to work as a cooper.
