Exhibitions

Greenland National Museum has the largest cultural history collection in Greenland. Our exhibitions on Greenland’s cultural heritage include artefacts from different periods of the cultural history of the country. You can easily spend a whole day exploring cultural history at the museum, or you might choose to focus on a single exhibition.

The National Museum has seven permanent exhibitions that follow a historical timeline. Travel back in time and trace the history of Greenland over 4,500 years. You can get close to the first Arctic Stone Age cultures, meet the ancestors of today’s Greenlanders, or explore Greenland’s recent history.
