Photo pricing list
Greenland National Museum & Archives have a photographic archive that covers many aspects of Greenland’s history. The museum holds the copyright to this material, but under special circumstances can allow its private and public use for a fee.
Greenland National Museum & Archives can transfer the reproduction rights to visual materials on the following conditions:
Photographs are only to be used for the agreed purpose and the price is for one copy/single use. Original negatives, slides and other material remain the property of Greenland National Museum & Archives and are to be returned after use.
Compensation for the loss or damage of any material is minimum 2,000DKK per image.
Greenland National Museum & Archives own the rights to all photographs.
On publication, the photograph is to be credited with the photographer’s name and Greenland National Museum & Archives.
Electronic storage etc. of the image is not permitted without the express permission of Greenland National Museum & Archives.
We would appreciate a copy of any publication where photographs from Greenland National Museum & Archives feature being sent to the museum.
Our prices depend on whether you are a private individual or an institution. Prices also depend on the use of the images. All prices are per photograph. Photographs taken by Louise Kordon are not available.
