Private Archives

The National Archives are interested in receiving the documents of individuals, companies, and associations. The archive can cover postage and takes care of the final sorting and packing of documents where necessary.

If the person who delivers the documents does not specify terms on which they can be accessed, archived documents that contain information about the private affairs of individuals, including economic affairs, are first accessible after 80 years.

If you are in possesion of historical material, you think could be relevant or have other queries regarding archival storage please do not hesitate to contact the National Archives.
