The Architectural Archive

Our Architectural Archive contains Architectural drawings of buildings throughout Greenland up to around 1990. The materials in the Architectural Archive are from Greenland Technical Organisation's (GTO) archive up to 1987-90.

The materials in the archive include a microfilm catalogue, a register of building numbers, diverse office materials, lists of deliveries to the National Museum, etc., microfilms of documents and drawings, technical archive material from the shipyard in Sisimiut, Nuuk's city archive and drawings from the advisory board of GTO.

All inquiries regarding Architectural drawings must be made via telephone or e-mail, which you can find here. Copies of Architectural drawings of buildings or images of them can be requested to the Architectural Archive and can be obtained for a fee.
