2017 NKA Educational Initiative

As stated in the open letter, “Call for greater focus on scientific education and training in Greenland,” issued on 20 March 2017, The Greenland National Museum and Archives (NKA) is committed to fostering the educational advancement and training of Greenlandic students and early career professionals in the Humanities and Sciences. As part of this mission, the Greenland National Museum seeks to support and facilitate opportunities for young Greenlandic citizens to engage with foreign researchers and scholars.

If you are a scholar or researcher preparing to work in Greenland, we invite you to consider how your project or institution can promote educational training and development for the next generation of Greenlandic professionals. Our goal is to foster an open community of diverse intellectual and scholarly exchange in Greenland that encourages international participation and cooperation.

If you would like more information about opportunities for including Greenlandic students in your research, developing an institutional affiliation with the NKA or opportunities for the public dissemination of your research to the general public, please send all inquiries to harmsen@natmus.gl.
